MEET THE TEAM

  • FOUNDER + CEO

    Eric is the lead and creator of GameWizardsXR, a laboratory that will be available to colleges, universities, and corporate training groups internationally. Eric started his career as a 2D animator at MTV on Mike Judge’s infamous Beavis & Butthead, then moved to LA to work on King of the Hill and The Simpsons. As Academic Director of Game Art & Design at the Art Institute in Santa Monica, he created the Game Wizards product team and launched a successful degree in Game Programming.

    His graduates have been placed at some of the biggest names in the industry, including Electronic Arts, Sony, Activision/Blizzard, Treyarchi, Neversoft, Infinity to name a few. He has also worked at traditional CGI product studios like Legend 3D in Los Angeles, where he was instrumental in developing their CG pipeline for animation and VR.

  • CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

    Pete combines the unusual skillset of a STEM science background with years of work in Virtual and Augmented reality. He specializes in User Experience in immersive, and in applying UX and Interaction design to the VR/AR space. He is a skilled WebXR developers. His current work includes UX design, strategy and development for a variety of clients.

    In addition to consulting, Pete works as a teacher in web design game art and game programming throughout the LA regional area. He is also an expert in digital and generational marketing, and has lectured in the USC CTM program. He is part of the group at Lifecourse associates that that coined the term “Millennial” in 2001.

  • HEAD OF STRATEGY + DESIGN

    Obsessed with futurism and technology, Dawn codes, designs, and is a Virtual Reality (VR) fellow with Facebook/Oculus. With a Wall Street banking background and graduate education in law, finance, and media business, Dawn started her entertainment career at CAA, working next as a senior development + production executive at Will Smith's company, Overbrook Entertainment. Managing a slate of projects in film and television with budgets ranging from $10M to $100M, she also launched their cross-content marketing (XCM) group producing virtual games, graphic novels, animations, and online story worlds for tentpole films.

    She was recently the Head of Culture Strategy and Content Innovation at an ad agency leading the Samsung and Nike Women brands. A strategy and content specialist for women and millennials, she has consulted on campaigns for brands like Ford, Fiat, Kraft, and Xbox.
